Lava Room Recording

Wishes You a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah,

Happy Kwanzaa, and the Happiest of New Years!

Lava Room Recording Shares a Christmas Wish and the Christmas Tree in Washington, DC

While the vast majority of Americans, and indeed people around the world, will celebrate the holidays and think of them as a time for Joy, Peace on Earth, and Good Will toward Men, our hearts go out to the People of Newtown, Connecticut (this is a link to several recognized charities*)We wish them only good things in the coming New Year!

This is been an incredibly difficult year for far too many Americans!

We would also like to remember the People of Aurora (charities recommended by The Daily Beast*)as well as anyone else affected by what can only be described as a senseless tragedy.

As we say farewell to the old and usher in the new, we would like each and every one of you affected by such heinous acts to know that you are never alone, that our thoughts and prayers will always be with you. So as we celebrate this holiday season, and the coming new year, let us give thanks for all we have, for the many blessings we share with one another, with our fellow countrymen…and with our brothers and sisters around the world.

Sadly, we often hear people say, “If only people would act throughout the year the way they do on Christmas Day….”

Interestingly, most finish with a taper and a sigh, a pause at the end, finishing the sentence with an unspoken, seemingly helpless wish for something better.

Well, we’ve heard it too…more times that we can count.

So we’d like to make a suggestion, a Christmas Wish, if you will:

Let’s begin with the holidays…this holiday!

And then, let’s extend that holiday spirit one day at a time.

Let us make this holiday season a time of charity and selflessnessof peace and understandingof love and healing.

Especially love and healing!

Finally, instead of spending more time writing, we thought it would be nice to share a beautiful song with a wonderful holiday message:

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day by Casting Crowns

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth good will to men

And the bells are ringing
Like a choir they’re singing
In my heart I hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men

But the bells are ringing
Like a choir singing
Does anybody hear them?
Peace on earth, good will to men

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men

Then ringing singing on its way

The world revolved from night to day
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men

And the bells they’re ringing
Like a choir they’re singing
And with our hearts we’ll hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

Do you hear the bells they’re ringing?
The life the angels singing
Open up your heart and hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

Peace on earth, Peace on earth
Peace on earth, Good will to men

*Lava Room Recording does not endorse these charities. However, after much research, the sources offering advice, and the charities themselves, appear to be creditable. You must, of course, use your own good judgement and do your own due diligence before sending money to any charity. But clearly, this is a good cause!

NOTE: Watch for Lava Room Recording’s First Annual Emerging Artist of the Year Award – Part II (See Part I – click the link) – We lost Rudolph for a couple of days…and he’s our chief editor! All kidding aside, the announcement is a big one and we know most people are occupied with family and friends, as they should be. So we will post the announcement first thing Wednesday morning, December 26, 2012. And the story will blow you away! See you then. Happy Holiday to each and every one of you!
