Raised in a very musical family, it was no surprise Austin became an audio engineer. He was an active member of the local music community from a young age singing in various choirs and performance groups. As he got older, he graduated to playing guitar and singing in local rock and punk bands, as well as playing in his school jazz band, marching band, pep band, concert band, musical pit, and singing in the chamber choir. After graduation, Austin attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Gilbert, AZ. There he learned and honed his skills as an audio engineer, demonstrated in part by the numerous certifications he earned for his use of different audio production software and equipment.
He now employs those skills everyday as an engineer at Lava Room Recording, approaching every project with a unique plan and point of view to guarantee a product perfectly tailored to the client. Austin’s extensive background as a musician, versed in many different styles of music, paired with his professional audio background makes him an obvious choice for any project.
