“You can taste dishonesty/it’s all over your breath”.
The first words you hear from the visual album “Lemonade” that Beyonce released in April of this year. Lava Room is intrigued by these opening words because artist, Kevin Garrett, is the co-writer and producer alongside Beyonce to the first song you hear, “Pray You Catch Me”. A couple of months ago we had the pleasure of having Kevin in the studio with us and he’s a very talented guy who’s going to take over the charts one day, maybe soon! Kevin has a way of making people feel deeply through music and lyrics and he is a great opening artist for an album so buried in emotion. This is Beyonce’s 6th consecutive #1 album in the country and we are so happy for Kevin that he got the opportunity to be a part of it.
Kevin will be back to touring on September 3rd at the Made in America Festival in Pittsburgh, PA and continue touring all the way until the end of October finishing with a bang in Balboa, Spain at the BIME Festival. He will be playing alongside artists like Rihanna and Coldplay as well as Chance the Rapper and Collegrove (2 Chainz and Lil Wayne). Most shows will be played with Oh Wonder, a London-based alt-pop duo, consisting of Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West.
