Monday July 20th, Pop Star Shawn Mendes was laying down tracks in the studio at Lava Room Recording. Shawn was working on parts for a new single as well as tracking vocals for another song later to be released on a popular television series of which he will appear on the Season Premiere episode.

Shawn has recently been on tour with Taylor Swift and making quite a name for himself on Billboard’s pop charts.His latest record “Handwritten” quickly rose to No. 1 soon after its release in April 2015. Two singles on this record, “Life Of The Party” and “Something Big” have both sold 250,000 copies each (gold RIAA). It was a great experience working with Island Records and such a talented young artist. We look forward to his new release and and the success of the work done at Lava Room Recording.
