Brad Puette also started a new project with the HumbleHeroz Productions emerging artist, LC. LC is a very talented emerging artist who is planning on putting together a new album soon. LC is more of an electro-pop artist and Brad will continue to do some of the production work for her as she begins to work toward creating her new album.
Chris Ebbert spent the first part of last week, September 17th and 18th, in lockout sessions with the Christian band The Spiritual Hi-Lites. They are an exciting band and you can hear influences from all over the map in their music. Through most tracks you can hear traditional gospel to funk, rock to jazz, and even blues with a barbershop style backing in the vocals throughout most of the tracks. Chris and The Spiritual Hi-Lites cut 13 tunes for their new album called He’s Coming Back; and then, we spent the rest of the week tracking and overdubbing. Chris should have the mixes done by mid-October. No release date is set yet.
The Spiritual Hi-Lites is a gospel singing group composed of 10 members. The business manager and lead vocalist is Roger Jones. He founded the group in 1989. Roger has composed most of the songs the group sings.

Listen to this cover of Somebody I Used To Know by Goodnight City Lights. This takes one of the better written pop tunes of the year and puts an edgier twist on it. Somebody I Used To Know was tracked and mixed with Chris Ebbert and had it mastered by Mike Brown.
Mike Brown (owner, chief engineer, producer) had Eastern Rift in for a week. Eastern Rift was cutting a few songs for their new four-song EP. Eastern Rift’s sound is more straight-forward, hard-driving rock & roll. They’ve finished cutting the basics and should have the overdubs and mixes finished by mid-October. No release date has been set yet.

Mike Petrone brought in a bluegrass gig to work with. Mike teamed up with Brad Puette to work with KJ Blues. They started off by cutting and then cleaning the acoustic guitar, upright bass, harmonica, and vocals tracks. Mike Petrone, Brad, and KJ Blues got a lot done over the course of a couple of days and the KJ Blues sound really started to come alive!
The Dual Identity project will be finished up on Saturday. This is the second album Brad has mixed for them and they plan on releasing it at the end of October.
The CSAR program has had another graduate. Adam Hendricks finished up his final project, tracking and mixing a single for the band Roskoh.
We welcome Adam Hendricks as an employee! Adam has moved from CSAR student to Assistant Engineer/Intern and we are happy and proud to have him on our team.
